And One More For the Road

For our final meal of Kims birthday weekend, Walter, Kim, and I met up with Rob and Shannon for lunch at the Waikiki Prince Hotel. Although we’re not normally buffet fans, the Prince’s Sunday brunch is famous for its fresh shellfish and sushi bar. “Someone smells wonderful”, our waiter said as he approached our ocean view table. “A lovely perfume,” he continued. Once everyone at the table denied wearing perfume, he noted, “Smells a bit like alcohol.” “Ah,” Kim said, “that would be the alcohol.”

Perhaps Mai Tais for breakfast wasn’t such a good idea after all.
